One of the hardest things for most people to do is to create and maintain a clear vision of their hopes, dreams, ambitions and goals. People who are trying to better themselves in some way are perfect candidates for the use of vision board. Likewise, anyone who feels their energy or motivation flagging over the course of the day or weeks can find value in a vision board, which helps refocus them and reminds them of the things that make them happy and energized. So the vision board is put together largely as the result of a series of guiding questions. I ask my students what they see as a good life or what they think makes their lives worth living. This serves as the basis for a vision. I ask them what things they would like to learn or do, like learning an instrument or visiting a foreign country. What do they want to achieve in their careers? What do they see as their ultimate love life goals? I provide all materials needed but the ultimate scenario would be them to have a letter sent to them before the class so they can collect some images & verbiage meaningful to them. I am sure this will evoke some stimulating conversation. We will then put them together on a canvas in aesthetically pleasing composition and seal it.
